Chesapeake Crossing is a regional, value oriented shopping center in the S. Military – Greenbrier area of Chesapeake, VA. Its located at the cross streets of Battlefield Blvd and S. Military and in close proximity to I-64 near I-464. Its so central to the geographic Southside that the Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) has located a large bus transfer station at the shopping center entrance. Co-tenants include Home Emporium (home décor close out) and Big Lots who each recently renewed long term leases and remodeled their stores. In 2016 the Veterans Administration (VA) chose Chesapeake Crossing for a 10,000 s.f. community based outpatient clinic due to its central location and mass transit accessibility and quickly reached capacity. They are currently working through an expansion which will draw a wide range of demographics to the center.
