This three-story building sits on the north side of Seneca Street with Michigan Avenue to the west, Butler Place to the east and Myrtle Avenue to the north. Formerly home to Seneca Plumbing Supply, the building will be converted into a mix of uses including over 9,000 square feet of commercial space on the first and second floors and four market-rate apartments on the third floor. Additional commercial space is available in an adjacent and internally connected warehouse totaling just over 4,000 square feet. We are working in consultation with the NYS Historic Preservation Office and National Park Service to restore the building for designation on the National Register of Historic Places upon completion of the renovation work. Exterior work will include reinstating the original window openings on the north and south elevations, which had been blocked in by previous ownership. Interior work includes the preservation of an historic stair case, restoration of original hardwood flooring and historic wood ceilings. We are excited to bring this vacant building back to life, and believe that its adaptive reuse will add to the vibrancy and rebirth of the Seneca Street corridor.
