The Grand Theater Building is an Art Deco building constructed in the 1920s for performing acts. It was converted into a Movie Theater with the screen placed behind the stage after movies became prevalent. The original stage and other features including pressed tin ceilings, plaster corbels, sloped wood floor, terrazo entranceway, and original overhead glass globe lights still remain. A bowling alley was also located in the ground floor. The building is undergoing a thoughtful renovation as a repurposed multi tenant facility with small shops/ restaurant spaces in the front, and office / retail / general commercial spaces available above and below. The gem and anchor of the building will be the original theater to be restored as an arts / entertainment / events venue. The building facade includes a marquee with ample space for tenant signage as well as an LED reader board. The center lobby contains a rollup garage door for 3 season outdoor seating.
